My name is Mike Jane, I am a professional graphic designer for a large public sector organisation based in Plymouth in the United Kingdom. I have been a 'collector' since a young lad, mechanical things and steam engines have always held a fascination for me.

Ever since I was a child I have collected things, picture cards at first which came from Brooke Bond tea packets, then steam engines - my parents bought me a Mamod steam roller in 1973, then in the 90s I got back into die cast cars and started to collect Corgi - Corgi Rockets are my speciality, although I do collect Corgi Juniors and some Matchbox, Rockets were only made briefly c1970-72 in a response to the run away success of Hot Wheels. At the beginning of the millennium I started to get back into classic cycles - Carlton to be precise, after a period of mountain biking.
