A close look at the well produced 1979 Mamod catalogue

The attractively shot 1979 catalogue (130 x 185mm)

The 1979 brochure appeared with the new revised range. All the stationaries had been updated and the names changed (now with the SP prefix), the SW1 was now blue and the Roadster had a revised set of wheels. This brochure had 8 pages and was produced in full colour, which was the only way to fully show the quality of the photography which went into this fine piece of promotional literature.

The reverse of the brochure showed the new top of the stationary range SP powering the new Workshop, little did Malins know that this was to be one of the last big updates they would oversee with the family in control, after the launch of the loco sets in 1980 things went rapidly downhill...
Leaflet size: 130 x 185mm, matt art paper.
