Mamod tools grew out of the Hobbies range in the 1930s (just like the engines), the polisher, grinder and power hammer and press have been with us through thick and thin for over 60 years. Bowman tools were as varied as their engines, although none were made by Bowman and some made in Germany!!

Powers tools have always been an essential part of steam toys, after all once you had your engine it had to drive something. So grew up a whole range of presses, hammers, lathes and dynamos to suit every pocket and mimick every facet of industry.
